The Nightmare Before Christmas is finally getting a sequel! But it won’t be happening as a movie, instead, as a comic book! Tim Burton’s classic was released nearly 25 years ago and has ever since been a popular hit.
Now, fans of the movie can look forward to seeing the animated feature as a comic books, which according to MovieWeb.com, will follow Jack Skellington’s lovable ghost dog Zero.
The comic will be called Nightmare Before Christmas: Zero’s Journey and will be released first as single-issues that ship to comic book shops and book retailers.
Later, it will be collected into full-color trade paperback editions, as well as black and white “pocket-sized” manga editions. The comic will be published by Tokyopop and is set to be released next spring.
