Stephen King’s “Pet Sematary” was released in 1989 and soon became one of his most popular flicks. Taking place in Maine, the home that inspired King to write the horror story is now for sale for $255,000.
Located at 664 River Road, The Orrington house has been featured in a number of books, stories, and blogs. Dating back to 1904, the home features four bedrooms, two fireplaces, a formal dining room and an all-season sun room. It also boasts a sprawling three acres of land.
According to Bangor Daily News, the home’s current owner, Loran Dosen, loves the history of the home and almost considered keeping it, but instead is moving to Tennessee.
