Halloween may be a couple months away, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get into the spooky spirit ahead of time! The USPS has released a new stamp program for 2016 and the eerie jack-o’-lantern stamps were one of the additions for the Halloween Season. They bring the perfect amount of spook, while still having a friendly look to them.
These black and orange stamps are perfect for the true Halloween fans out there who like to show their passion for the holiday all year round, or for those who simply enjoy going all out when October rolls around. The photo above features four different stamps, all with various smiling jack-o’-lanterns. According to USPS, these stamps are the very first Halloween-themed stamps they’ve issued, which makes them a pretty big deal!
The pumpkins pictured on the stamps were carved and designed by Paul Montanari under the art direction of Derry Noyes of Washington, D.C. The lit jack-o’-lanterns used were photographed and by Sally Andersen-Bruce.
